Our mission is to develop the business and community leaders of tomorrow through access to entrepreneurship and financial literacy education.

The Our D.R.E.A.M. (Developing Resources to Empower All Minds) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aimed at entrepreneurial and financial literacy education for youth in underserved communities. Founded in 2015 by entrepreneurs and former college classmates Johnny Graham and Justin Peters, Our D.R.E.A.M. was birthed from a recognized need for economic empowerment in these communities. Through its programming Our D.R.E.A.M. gives its students access to information, resources, and mentorship that develop their leadership and communications skills and fuels their entrepreneurial spirit. The foundation rolled out its inaugural program, the Y.E.S. Program in the summer of 2015.

All Minds.

Interactive Instruction

Central to our organizational mission is providing education and access to resources that extend beyond the classroom. Not only is it key that we impart this information on our students, but also do so in a fun, engaging manner.

Personal Development

Our programming not only focuses on students’ intellectual development, but also places emphasis on their personal, soft skill development. Communication skills, business etiquette, leadership and team building, self-confidence and respect, are all crucial elements of our curriculum.

Real-World Application

Upon learning new concepts and information, students are given the opportunity to directly apply this newfound knowledge whether through a business pitch competition, interaction with a speaker, or internship/job placement.

Representative Mentorship

It truly takes a village, thus to support our students in their development,  local business and community leaders serve as speakers, coaches, mentors, and volunteers in our programming.

Our Programs

The YES Program

The Y.E.S. (Youth Entrepreneurship Startup) Program is a week-long FREE entrepreneurship summer program for high school students. The program is designed to introduce students to the foundational principles of business, to help cultivate the students’ own ideas and overall entrepreneurial spirit. Throughout the week, the students apply the information they learn, and work in groups to develop a business idea. At the conclusion of the program, students participate in a business pitch competition for awards and prizes. The program features lectures in basic business concepts, along with guest talks and mentorship from experienced regional entrepreneurs.

Youth Business Summit

The Youth Business Summit is a one-day intensive of workshops, panels, and interactive activities focused on teaching principles of entrepreneurship to high school students. Student participants will be introduced to basic business concepts, taken through the process of developing a business idea into a competitive, marketable, financially-fledgling business enterprise. Throughout the day, students will work in teams to participate in various activities, culminating in a business pitch competition in which student groups will present their business ideas. Each team will have 1-2 team coaches to assist and guide them in-group activities throughout the day.
