The Our D.R.E.A.M. (Developing Resources to Empower All Minds) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aimed at entrepreneurial and financial literacy education for youth in underserved communities. Founded in 2015 by Johnny Graham and Justin Peters (co-owners of Maryland-based management consulting firm, Graham & Peters LLC), Our D.R.E.A.M. was birthed from a recognized need for economic empowerment in these communities. Through its programming Our D.R.E.A.M. gives its students access to information, resources, and mentorship that develop their leadership and communications skills and fuels their entrepreneurial spirit. The foundation rolled out its inaugural program, the Y.E.S. Program in the summer of 2015.

Johnny Graham PhD, Chairman/Co-Founder

A feature article in University of Maryland newspaper, “The Diamondback” dubbed then student Johnny Graham “The Renaissance Man”. Scholar. Entrepreneur. Philanthropist. Musician. Baltimore born and raised Dr. Johnny Graham is an instrumental leader to his community and beyond.

Dr. Graham is currently an Assistant Professor in the Marketing department at Howard University. There he teaches introductory courses on marketing and brand management, and conducts research focused on the co-creation of brands. He holds his PhD in Marketing from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. Prior to attending Temple, he was a Banneker Key-Scholar and Dean’s Scholar at the University of Maryland-College Park, where he graduated from the Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2009 with his Bachelor’s and in 2012 with his MBA.

Graham himself is an entrepreneur, serving as chief partner of management consulting firm Graham& Peters LLC.  In addition to his business and academic endeavors, Graham is quite an accomplished jazz musician, having performed along the east coast with his band “The Groove” in numerous venues including The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the National Black Family Reunion, the Lyric Opera House, and several college tours.

Justin Peters Esq., Vice Chairman

Justin Peters has entrepreneurship in his blood…literally. As a child, Justin watched his dad own and operate several businesses, including a travel agency, printing and graphics company, and a mortgage brokerage. His foray into entrepreneurship began at his alma mater, the University of Maryland, where he co-founded an event promotion and management company, Image Entertainment Group. During Image’s life span, Justin formed the company’s organizational structure, managed a team of employees, and developed marketing campaigns. After success hosting events in the DC metro area, Justin and the other co-founders dissolved the company to focus on their careers. Justin worked for several years as a lobbyist, developing  communication strategies and collateral, conducting legislative and regulatory research, and interacting with government officials. He later served in the compliance department for a nationwide home healthcare agency, ensuring all employees received comprehensive training on the rules and regulations governing the company’s business functions. Justin is currently i an associate at Carter, Ledyard & Milburn and is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law.

Brittany H. Brady

Brittany H. Brady, Ed.M., is the Director of Academics and Accountability for the Brewer Foundation’s Future Leaders Program (FLP), an academic and leadership development program that serves more than 300 students from the Dallas Independent School District. Prior to joining the Brewer Foundation, Brady was the community liaison at W.E. Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy within the Dallas Independent School District.

While at Greiner, Brady worked to increase parental engagement and student achievement by creating parenting workshops and mentoring at-risk students. In recognition of her efforts, she was named the 2012-13 “Rookie of the Year” by the Dallas Independent School District.

Brady received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland and also holds a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Prevention Science and Practice. While at the University of Maryland, she was named a Banneker/Key and Ronald E. McNair Scholar.

While studying in the Prevention and Practice Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Brady focused on researching the impact that teachers have on student outcomes, the achievement gap, and intervention design.

Hank Rawlerson

Hank Rawlerson is a native of Philadelphia and a is currently a Sr. Program Manager for Premier Management Corporation. He has been instrumental in growing the government contracting firm’s revenue from $5M in 2011 to $36M in 2015. As certified PMP and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Hank excels in business development, proposal writing, project management, personnel management and process improvement. In 2009 Hank co-founded Imaginary Playaz LLC, creating a unique blend of sports, pop culture, and hip-hop content for several national websites including SI.com. During his time studying communication at the University of Maryland, Hank served two terms as the President of the Black Student Union and co –founded the Black Male Initiative, a program that has since achieved national recognition and has contributed to an increase black male graduation rates at the university.  Now a father of 2, Hank is committed to fostering the growth of the next generation of leaders and served as a team mentor for the inaugural YES Baltimore session.

Jordan Campbell

Jordan Campbell is a recent graduate from The illustrious Howard University School of Business. While in school she studied business management with a concentration in hospitality. Jordan excelled greatly in her program, achieving dean’s list and being chosen to be a brother in Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity Incorporated. Post graduation Jordan was accepted into The Charmer Sunbelt and Brown Forman accelerated management program and has worked an array of different positions in spirit marketing and sales. She is a natural born leader and wants nothing more than to help the world in any way she can.
